The Director is responsible to the Committee for day-to-day management and is the nominated supervisor for the Centre.
The Committee meets monthly, receiving reports on the centres operation and manages various tasks such as centre policy, staffing, children’s programs, maintenance and policy decisions. A main responsibility is organising two family events, which are held in May and December each year when Centre families come together and celebrate with their children and the educators.
The committee is supported by an accountant and various Government agencies. As a result our committee meetings and tasks are enjoyable and stress-free. Committee news is communicated to parents via our monthly newsletter.
The Centre’s Annual General Meeting is held in September.
This meeting receives the annual reports on the affairs of the centre, including the audited report, and reports from the Treasurer and the Director and new Management Committee members are elected.
