Cottesloe Kindergarten and Child Care Centre is a 34-place centre for children aged one to six. We operate from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, 48 weeks a year.The Centre is a place for children and families to explore, learn, build friendships, have fun and receive encouragement and care in an inclusive environment.
Our holistic approach to learning is based on the national Early Years Learning Framework. Cottesloe Kindergartena and Child Care Centre is rated as meeting the National Quality Standards in all seven quality areas.Daily activities and routines are developed with each child’s strengths, interests and needs in mind using input from children and parents. Our comprehensive monthly curriculum is adapted to each child’s personality, age and stage. Plus, we intersperse plenty of open-ended experiences, because we believe all children need to have fun and freedom to explore every day.
Our incursion program showcases topics such as native animals, science, music, dentists, doctors and pets. Our music program is supported by our pianist who attends twice a week.
We also have French classes twice a week with Nouchka. and soccer with Junior Goals.
Cottesloe Child Care Centre moved from Railway Street to our new premises on Marmion Street in late 2012. The site was previously occupied by North Cottesloe Pre-Primary.
Lotterywest funding allowed the Centre to complete a new build and renovate existing buildings and grounds with assistance from the Town of Cottesloe.
The result is an exceptional, purpose-built facility in an attractive, natural setting.
The Parent Management Committee manages the Centre, represented by parents and the Centre director.
Using only the freshest and best local produce we serve delicious home style meals created in our kitchen.
Our fees and rates are based on age. You can choose from daily of weekly fees and discounts apply if you have a second child enrolled.

What to do if your child is ill or absent for an extended period of time. If possible it is requested that parents notify the centre 24 hours in advance if unwell.
Our Centre has policies and procedures that reflect best practice and guide what we do every day.
Our Centre has a non- bias approach to all applicants, and follows priority of access criteria as set out by the Commonwealth Government.
Most new enrolments at Cottesloe Child Care Centre occur at the end of the year, with children starting at the centre in January.
